Not the most exciting list; useful, yes, but I’m glad I can probably make it through life without most of them. Are they better than getting a degree? Also yes. I completely agree with you. People focus far too much on the degrees and formal education and not enough on the life skills and experiences that can be far more profitable. I am convinced that most jobs can be taught without the “help” of college. The information is available for free. We need to think outside the box and focus on intelligence, aptitude, creativity, and discipline instead of a piece of paper.
