Thanks for writing this. Rener Gracie did an outstanding video explaining why this works. Like you pointed out, the more weapons a cop has in his arsenal, the less likely he’ll need to resort to deadly violence. A gun is less likely to be used, even if it’s a bad cop wanting control.

I think everyone (especially women) should learn BJJ, even if it’s the bare minimum- whatever that is.
